Dae Mon, located between Monbijoupark and Hackescher Markt, has been a culinary hotspot in the middle of the city since 2016. "Open minded cuisine" is the philosophy that chef Raphael Schünemann and sous chef Jan Rzehak implement in an avant-garde restaurant with an open kitchen.
Cosmopolitan and open minded: true to this culinary concept, the young team offers a bold combination in the dishes, with influences from Europe, Japan and Korea, and even looking beyond its horizons. Never dogmatic, always curious and above all, fresh and tasty. These endeavors have been currently rewarded with 14 Gault-Millau points.
The finely tuned seasonal 4-course Dae Mon menu caters to the guests‘ taste buds with a corresponding wine accompaniment.
An absolute highlight for connoisseurs is the Chefs Menu, which includes 7 sophisticated courses, each with wine accompaniment at the highest level.
During the cold months, a 4-course menu with the special culinary experience of a tea accompaniment can be enjoyed, which is quite unique in Germany and has already caused somewhat of a sensation in Berlin’s culinary circles.
Considering the office buildings in the surrounding area, a weekly changing business lunch was established, which reflects Dae Mon’s culinary art in a simplified form.
