Welcome to Dae Mon Restaurant - our favorite place, where culinary boundaries are expanded and transcended.

Our "Open Minded Cuisine" is an interplay of diverse culinary traditions fused together in innovative ways. Our goal is to surprise our guests' palates and delight them with unexpected flavor combinations.

The heart project of Stefan Reinhardt is managed with great passion by the two chefs Samuel Haas and Phillip Steixner. They are supported by the young, creative team from seven nations.

The menu at Dae Mon is dynamic – we constantly evolve our dishes and replace individual components to match the season. We source our ingredients from the best suppliers in Berlin and from local producers.

Our 8-course menu combines the typical Asian flavors of acidity, sweetness, and spiciness with regional products and a touch of experimentation. This allows us to create an extraordinary and delightful taste experience.

In addition to its outstanding cuisine, Dae Mon is distinguished by its refined beverage menu. Whether you prefer an alcoholic or non-alcoholic pairing with your meal, our bar offers an exquisite selection of excellent wines or original cocktails. A special highlight is our tea pairing, which complements our menu: the teas we import from carefully selected farms in Japan, China, and India are cold-brewed and extracted for around 22 hours. This process minimizes bitterness and enhances their delicate aromas and flavor nuances. Served at room temperature, they wonderfully complement our menu. We are happy to assist you in selecting the perfect beverages.

The name "Dae Mon" is a fusion of two languages and cultures: "Dae" means "great" in Korean, and "Mon" is the Japanese word for "gate." We invite you to pass through this "Great Gate" and discover our "Open Minded Cuisine."

Our restaurant is a vibrant playground for experimentation, where we reinterpret traditional recipes and create innovative dishes. Following our philosophy, we process familiar ingredients in unfamiliar ways, deconstructing their components and reassembling them to create unique dishes. This blend leads to an exciting and varied menu that we continuously develop, attracting gourmets from around the world.
